Company Introduction
24 Hour Home Care is a California-based home care and disability services provider founded in 2008. The company serves individuals of all ages and abilities by connecting families with qualified caregivers and community support services. Through partnerships with Regional Centers and Medi-Cal programs, 24 Hour Home Care supports thousands of families seeking disability care, in-home assistance, and wellness services across California.
The Problem
What happens when care needs grow, but life doesn’t pause?

Overview
Through collaboration with 24 Hour Home Care, we designed an online scheduling platform from the perspective of families seeking care services. The platform supports a community of over 20,000 users by connecting families of individuals with disabilities to trusted health and wellness providers in their local area. I contributed to the UX/UI design process, helping improve service discovery, appointment scheduling, and overall user experience for both families and care providers.
Final Output
24Hour Pilot Bear
This bear is derived from one of our main functions, CarePilot. As a “pilot,” it helps guide families through care—making complex systems feel more approachable and less overwhelming.
Illustrations
We created a suite of illustrations generated by AI, and developed a structured prompt library that allows us to generate a consistent family of visuals—while maintaining a warm, hand-drawn feel.
We wanted to create a full spectrum of 24 Hour’s clients.
From children with developmental needs, to adults receiving care, to elderly community members.

This system can extend across product, marketing, social media, and physical touchpoints.
We aimed to create a more recognizable and human centered brand experience.

We not only hope that our app has complete functions and excellent data visualization, but also hope that it can convey warm humanistic care.
My Role and what I learned
As a team of four people, we discovered in our cooperation that each of us has our own strengths. I am mainly responsible for the AI function Carepilot, the innovation of ui style, and the design of Brand peripheral products.
Watching our style gradually evolve from the cold medical style at the beginning to incorporate illustrations and add warmth, I gained a sense of achievement
